Overview

Over three days spanned over one month, Beit Al Karma provided training and mentorship program in Business Development using the slogan of Solutions Through Relationships and Thought Leadership. During the week days, Beit Al Karma provided the 24 attending multi-disciplined senior and junior engineers with homework and discussion briefs. Assignments such as Client Account Plans, Project Capture Plans, Bid-or-No-Bid decision were then reviewed and discussed. The training and mentorship program was indeed timely needed as ECG has just restructured its business development process entirely making smaller business units within each practice area. The new solution mandates almost everyone in the organization to develop business, conduct consultative selling, build relationships and capture new contracts. All smaller units contribute to revenue generation in a decentralized fashion but some functions being centralized and cross cutting all over the business development efforts. By applying the training course’s deliverables, all new business unit will use the same vocabulary, templates and processes thus making the whole business development efforts more efficient, effective and challenging
