We conduct evaluation missions to measure impact, capture change and recommend for better solutions and better delivery mechanisms. We provide technical assistance in designing development projects, reporting and setting up Performance Monitoring Plans that create value. Here is a summary of how and why our M&E practice has been rendered by several international organizations.
We base our evaluation studies and recommendation on concrete evidence. We use mixed method approach to evaluation by applying both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools. Our approach is participatory involving project’s beneficiaries and stakeholders thus ensuring ownership of outcomes and recommendations
We use available evidences to capture change. A change that is tracked through results chain and outcomes harvesting methods. Numbers tell what happened while stories tell why it happened therefore it enhances authenticity and correctness of information collected
We listen well to the voices of projects’ beneficiaries and stakeholders to learn about the project’s impact. We listen to their opinion on how to maximize the return of project’s investments as well as on how to strengthen ownership of results.
We place higher emphasis on the design of Key Performance Indicators. They are vital elements to ensure delivery. Our designed KPIs are not only measuring what matters but are measurable, cost effective and within the control of the project team members. When we design projects, we design them to be evaluable, with clear and attainable outcomes and impact indicators
We elevate and transform development to deliver results by focusing on on what and how project’s activities were implemented. Project’s activities represent where project’s funds where spent and invested at, therefore how project’s value-for-money can be maximized
We facilitate and collect data that is precise, representative, comparable and validated through data triangulation from different sources and methods ensuring sound methodological data quality assurance practice
