Reduction of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting project aims at reversing existing community peer pressure so village communities can emancipate themselves and their girls from the practice of Female Genital Mutilation. The project is implemented in two governorates of Giza and Qalioubia.
The project team has evaluated the effectiveness and impact of the awareness raising activities, the capacity and sustainability of the formulated local coordination and monitoring committees.
