Mod-term Evaluation: Livelihood Improvement Project Piloting the Graduation Approach for Self-reliance, Cairo Office, 2016

The mid-term evaluation aimed at measuring the effect of the Graduation Approach in increasing refugees’ self-reliance in Egypt. The study evaluated the effectiveness and impact of

  1. Life skills training activities
  2. Vocational skills training
  3. Jobs matching and placement
  4. Grants to start micro-businesses and
  5. Protection and referral of cases exposed to gender-based violence including sexual-based violence.

The evaluation covered activities implemented by the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Caritas Egypt in Cairo and Alexandria governorates respectively.
