Youth in Action project designed to improve the socioeconomic status of out-of-school girls and boys between the ages of 12 and 18 in Egypt. The project does this by enhancing young people’s foundational and life skills, social assets, and by building key partnerships to help youth overcome barriers to their livelihood development including gender, family, and access to local markets barriers. The impact study reported how the project has contributed to the improved youth socioeconomic status and their active roles at home and at their communities.
