Working as the local environmental engineering firm for a U.S. international firm, Development Alternatives Inc., Beit Al Karma Consulting Economist and Environmental Management Specialist reviewed water desalination master plans, aquifer management plan and the proposed concept design to quantify information needed to assess potential impacts. Field visits and focus groups discussion were conducted to collect first-hand information on the area’s population and habitat.
The report outlined mitigation measures to protect the environment and surrounding communities.
