Course Overview
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities are vital to the effective project management of development programs. MEL activities make sure that the project’s activities are relevant to the context, coherent with other interventions, achieve their objectives, deliver results in an efficient way, and have positive impacts that last.
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Professional Certificate – Foundation training course will enable training participants to implement the day-to-day job activities often required from a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer. The course includes the foundational competencies, critical and evaluative thinking skills necessary to enable MEL officers to meaningfully design their projects, effectively manage their development projects, learn from results, make informed decisions and be accountable to their funding organizations as well as to the children, men, and women they serve.
